I really enjoyed this fast-paced page-turner! A combination of mystery, sci-fi, and politics, you get to know the workings of Congress, from someone who served as a page there. Taking place in Washington, D.C., you actually learn about the making of legislation)! Fun and educational!

This was a very strong action-packed political thriller. Great story - I couldn't put it down. This was right up there with Vince Flynn when it comes to the political thriller genre.

The Zero Game is the first Meltzer book I have read. After watching a recent interview of his, I was intrigued to read this political thriller. Set in DC within the House and Senate, its a story that makes you wonder all along whos playing the game and whos not? Well written and extremely descriptive, you feel like you are in the buildings being described, the premise of the story was enough to get me to read it.The action starts early and lasts all the way until the end. Who are the good guys?

TERRIFIC LEGAL THRILLER!

The book had a strong start. Fast paced read. The kind that keeps you on the edge of your seat. At the more than half through mark, I found myself wanting to know more about the characters. Not much was revealed, though. I felt it could've ended sooner. I did really like and enjoy Harris and Viv's friendship. Solid 3 stars. Good read.

I'm calling this book a very unconventional look at DC politics. Who's to say every bit of this isn't true? It's creative, a little crazy, and a high-quality thriller. We even get some threads of the espionage genre tangled in for good measure. Who doesn't love that?
