Interpretation Concering Books Smoke Mountain (Seekers #3)
The Last Great Wilderness . . .There is a place where bears can live in peace, where there is sea-ice all year, where the forests are full of prey, where flat-faces never go. Polar bears Kallik and Taqqiq, black bear Lusa, grizzly Toklo, and the shape-shifting Ujurak believe that this fabled bear paradise must be the destination of their quest. But the path they follow is dangerous.
The burning Smoke Mountains are more treacherous than anything the bears have faced before, and tensions run high as they encounter obstacle after obstacle. A rushing river and hostile flat-faces separate them from their goal, and a bear is pushed to the brink of death. Signs and omens point in different directions, and the bears, though traveling together, must each follow his or her own star . . . causing one bear to leave the group forever.
But as the others travel on, they soon learn that it will take all their strength and determination to reach their destination. And, if they reach it at last, they may learn that what they thought was their quest's end is in fact a new beginning. . . .

I don't really have a favorite part, but my least favorite part was when Taqqiq left. I wish he would have stayed, and that he improved his attitude so that he could get along with the others better. This was an excellent book! Just wait until you read it. The bear friends set off on a dangerous adventure. They will attempt to cross Smoke Mountain. There have been tales about a hunter who kills and skins bears, but is it true? Also, Smoke Mountain has been known for its allusions, and the rising smoke that comes from the Earth. But before the bears even try to get there, they must first cross the Great River. Can they all make it? Or will one bear be left behind, forever?
I chose this book because since I read the first book, I might as well read the second part to it. This book is about how the bears are united at last and learn of a place they think must be the destination of their quest, but getting there means crossing the burning smoke Mountain. The mountain holds obstacles that are more treacherous than anything else they've been through. They will get to part where one of the obstacles go in different directions and the bears get separated. My favorite

Love Love LOVE!!!!!
Is there such a place of everlasting ice all year long? Toklo, Taqqiq, Ujarak, and Lusa are prepared to find out. Fed up with eating dwelling land animals, Taqqiq convinces the other bears to follow him on his quest to The Great Wilderness to feast on plump seals all year long. This book had me wanting to read more after chapters, but dull at other moments in time. However, the author makes up for this with amazing detail describing scenery and events. Overall I would recommend this book to
First of all this book really makes you think. The plot seems simple, 4 bears finding the last untouched wilderness, but it really shows the impact humans have on the environment and how cruel we can be to animals. This book is meaningful, yet fun.
Smoke Mountain is the third book of Seekers. It follows three bears called Kallik, Toklo and Lusa on a journey to find The Place of Endless Ice. Kallik is a polar bear, Toklo is a brown/grizzly bear and Lusa is a black bear.I read the first two books of the Seekers series a couple of years ago because I had read Erin Hunter's other books and really wanted to read more. I got as far as the second book and stopped for a reason I frankly don't remember and I wish I hadn't. I forgot how brilliant
