I am liking this story, but I cannot emphasize enough my dislike for the current trend these days of authors selling stories in installments. I can't think of the right word for it, but the closest one is greedy. And, for me it makes them really difficult to read since I spend almost the entire first half of the installment reacquainting myself with the story and going back to previous ones for the same reason.
