A lot of my friend's had read this book and recommended it to me. The beginning of the book was a bit too slow for my liking, but the plot was pretty interesting. The way how the first book of the series ended, it was a major cliff hanger and I cannot wait to start reading the second book of the series. Most of the times I never find anything I like but this once I decided what the heck? So let me start by saying this isn't the type of book that I usually read. I usually read books about characters who I feel I can relate to. It was really hard for me to get through, I started it around November and didn't finish until today. Read: 2005ish. Reread: 8/2017. Oooh yes, just as good as I wanted it to be! It was fun to reread and see all of the familiar names appear - a lot of thoughts and memories rushed back to me. I still don't remember much of the plot (what happens throughout the whole series), so that's nice. This book is very introductory, which isn't surprising since it's the first book in a 10 book series. I hope to keep banging through these. The nostalgia is realllll.

I've actually read this and a few of the others in the series before, but it's been years. I thought it might make good summer reading, especially now that I own most of them or can easily find them. The A-List isn't what I would consider a "great" read, but it was rather enjoyable, like watching a soap opera.The main character, Anna, is likable, as is Adam and Django. Quick entertaining read. I remember reading it when I was younger and I wanted something light and fun to read today. Glad to know its a series that I can devour. I would recommend to fans of Gossip Girl and similar YA novels.

After reading so many survival/dystopian books, I keep waiting for everyone in this to die. I kind of wish they would.
