A perfect one-day read, RAIN is an archetype for the zombie genre while also utilizing original ideas. Shaun Harbinger, your hero Alex was a funny, albeit dorky, guy, and he was the shining point of the novel. The setting was unique, the plot took dynamic and unexpected turns, and the overall feel of the novel was a perfect mix of horror and thriller. Nice read!
