Narrative In Favor Of Books Never Evers
Kicked out of ballet academy and straight into a school ski trip, Mouse knows certain classmates can't wait to see her fall flat on her face. Meanwhile, Jack looks forward to danger and girls, but hasn't a clue about either. That's until French teen sensation Roland arrives in the resort - who Jack's a dead ringer for. When Roland persuades Jack to be his stand-in for a day, Jack, in disguise, declares his feelings for Mouse. But what happens when he's no longer a pop star - will it be music and magic on the slopes?

Instantly added to TBR because a review said "Jack is mistaken for a French teen pop sensation".A cute, relatable, fun read.Love the switching povs and characters. And the story and lines...ohhh so funny.Great book if you need a qiuck pick me up.
Tom Ellen and Lucy Ivison can be reliably counted on to make me laugh out loud at least once a chapter. super cute.

I caught my eleven-year-old daughter looking through my YA romance novels and so I directed her to this book instead. She read it in one day, laughing and giggling at all the awkward moments and funny antics. She loved it!My daughter talked my ear off about this book and sighed happily when she turned the last page. It's great to have cute and clean romance novels that girls her age can enjoy. It's about a girl named Mouse who gets kicked out of ballet school. Her new school is going on a ski
What an excellent way to ski and snowboard right into all the fun, friends, drama and craziness that is middle school! Emotions run high and some learn what it means to truly be a friend and have a friend who's got your back. There is also plenty of laugh out loud moments that will make you wish this book could go on much longer! Thoroughly enjoyable read for both boys and girls. Jennifer K.
Never Evers is aimed at a younger readership than Lobsters (the main characters are 14-ish, rather than 18), so the focus is on friendship and first kisses no-one's trying to lose their virginity or making rude jokes. But the romance is very sweet some scenes felt almost Stephanie Perkins-esque and Ellen and Ivision are excellent at nailing the intricacies of friendship. Well worth a read.
Pure teen romcom that would work better on film. Curious to see what my Thrillseekers think on Friday night. I'm personally too old for this.
