Representaion Concering Books The Book of Wisdom

The Book of Wisdom is not a book of esoteric philosophy. Rather, it is a guide for inner discipline and transformation. It is a book that captures the essence of Tibetan Buddhism and gives us an accessible method for training the mind, awakening the heart, and growing in love and kindness towards others. In short, it is a book that teaches us to live with wisdom.Based on the Seven Points of Mind Training as delineated by the eleventh century Buddhist mystic, Atisha, The Book of Wisdom conveys ancient wisdom with a freshness and spontaneity rarely seen in contemporary works on spirituality. As in his other books Osho displays his extraordinary ability to transform the abstract into the concrete, to translate the spiritual wisdom of the East into a language that is understood by the spiritual seeker from the West.

The Book of Wisdom is a contemporary spiritual classic not only for those interested in Tibetan Buddhism. It is for all who are interested in weaving the wisdom of the ages into the fabric of everyday life.

Evaluate About Books The Book of Wisdom
Really amazing book of wisdom . Osho's replies to 'seekers' of various levels . Loved reading - enjoyed ,laughed and confused about the contradictions that he proposes . Journey towards 'No Mind' state .

This was a beautiful read or should I say listen. So much food for thought, so much insightful ideas to meditate upon. It has to be one of my favourite books/lectures of all time. Subsequently it is the first book that I simply had to write a review of. His

More Than a Talk In these 28 talks, given to an audience of sannyasins and seekers during his Poona One days, Osho does what he does best: sell enlightenment. With a combination of commentary on Atisha's Seven Points of Mind Training as well as Q&A sessions from his sannyasins, Osho not only brings Atisha's wisdom to life but also infuses it with his own tremendous clarity in classic Osho-fashion. Osho's vision is all-encompassing. He embraces all of the Masters and Mystics from the past in

After reading even a small portion of this masterpiece, you find yourself retracing the insights that have been laid down by Osho in such an enticingly simple manner, for their strikingly profound potency. In fact, the flow of the book is, at times, almost too simple; of course the intellect will always be hit by the disillusioning whirlwind of Osho's "non-philosophy", (which reminds me of Meno's likening of Socrates to the Torpedo Fish, which causes anyone that approaches it to go numb): "For

So simple, so logical yet so easily forgotten... I listen to this when I need grounding.
