Note: This book has many triggers- Rape, incest, abuse, slavery, sex outside mc- h had to have sex with many men, including H's brother and father. - h was forced into abortion and had to eat her own baby.

This series has taken me on an emotional journey. It made me happy, sad, angry, appalled. All of those sometimes within minutes of the last. I don't usually read paranormal type books, and to be honest I was a little unaware of that detail when I began reading them. As the story starts you meet Anna, she is a young girl naive and oblivious of the fact that she is and has been abused most of her young life. You meet Jack & Devin whom are her gentle abusers ( does gentle abuse even make sense)

This is not going to be a review like I usually do, instead this will be a rant. It is not going to be about one book but the series in general because I do not want to spend more time in this series. I spent three days that I wish I hadn't used for this and I wished I had listened to my earlier thoughts after reading other reviews.I picked out this book because it didn't get horrible reviews from friends. It seemed a bit interesting and different as I usually stay away from dark or horror

This was seriously fucked-up but highly addictive and I have lived and breathed Anna and Alex for the last week. So good. Definitely worth a read once you don't have triggers related to rape/sexual assault/slavery/violence.

Not many books stay with me after reading them...but this series, Yes....it will be with me for a long time! My goodness, how much one can go through just to survive in a messed up world. I have never felt so attached to a character as I did for Anna. The feelings you get while reading this is so real. I am so glad I finally got the courage to pick up this series and read it. If I could rate more stars I would!!! Loved it, Thank you for writing such an excellent love story ♡♡♡
