I am not a big fan of contemporary books. Sure, I like reading about drama, especially about love, life, and family, but for some reason, drama set in the real world dont really reel me in. Although it took awhile to get to the "meat" of the story, it was beautifully written. The story centered around secrets, when to keep them, when to betray a trust, and when to let them all go and forgive yourself. Secrets are a topic that resonates with me, and most readers.
